Robert Toru Kiyosaki was born on April 8, 1947, in Hilo, Territory of Hawaii, United States. He attended Hilo High School and graduated in 1965. When Kiyosaki was a young kid he always wanted to learn about money and how to make it.
One day he asked his teacher how to make money, and she told him that they don’t teach it in school. Kiyosaki starts working for a friend’s father who was an entrepreneur for free just so he can teach him how to become rich.
He learned a lot of things and wisdom from his friend’s father which he called his rich dad and started thinking about how he can implement his knowledge into the real world.
Career
Robert Kiyosaki’s first company was named Rippers, it produces the first nylon and velcro surfer wallets the company was successful and the product was featured in famous magazines such as Playboy and Newsweek, Kiyosaki Claimed that the company made him a millionaire by the age of 30. The company later went bankrupt.
His second company which also went bankrupt in 1980, was a retail business that made T-shirts, hats, wallets, and bags for heavy metal rock bands.
Five years later, Kiyosaki launched the Accelerated Learning Institute, a business education company teaching entrepreneurship, investing, Business, negotiation, and social responsibility for people who want to become successful in business. The company was successful and he sold it in 1994.
